England unchanged

Captain Faf du Plessis returns , Duminy dropped

… Oh that Rabada ban is an absolute and utter joke… Cricket authorities should be ashamed of themselves

The thing he got three points for was more a cuddle than anything else.
And if they don't want players saying fuck off on the stump mic they should turn it off.

Amusing reading about it on cricinfo as it was all the comments were YEAH BUT AUSTRALIA BLAH BLAH BLAH

The weird thing for me with this shit team he has picked again, is do they really see Jennings, Ballance and Dawson as the men who can take on the Aussies in Australia?

Ballance is obviously the most baffling, but what the fuck is Dawson about? Below average bowler, below average batsman, absolute head scratcher.

Re: 2nd Test England v South Africa at Trent Bridge
As an Australian fan I'd be urging Dawson for all 5 Ashes Test.
His sort of nude off spin will endanger the floodlights

If I was an England selector I'd pick Crane for the later Tests v the Windies and definitely take him to Australia

Re: 2nd Test England v South Africa at Trent Bridge
the brief glimpse I saw of Dawson in his first t20 game was enough for me. if we need a second spinner it should be Rashid or the youngster Crane. Jennings looks fucking useless to me and we have far better options in Malan, Hales, Duckett, Lyth, Vince. Ballance is another who must have a photo of bayliss being shagged by a shire horse

Re: 2nd Test England v South Africa at Trent Bridge
Hameed is surely the Jennings replacement once he gets a bit of form back after his hand injury.
I still think Buttler can make it as a Test batsman but may be a bit distracted by the t20 fortunes on offer.

Ballance has averaged 102 in the county championship this summer. I suspect that might be somewhere in the selector's minds when they decided to recall him.

Jennings and Dawson are both not up to it.

Should have stuck with Rashid and used Vince as an opener.

Re: 2nd Test England v South Africa at Trent Bridge
The problem you don't seem to have realised with those shouts Miike is that are all English, therefore they don't get given chance after chance after chance.

Dan Lawrence should be in ahead of Ballance every day of the week, and I'd give the ENGLISHMAN Rory Burns a chance to open, who seems to have the game for Test cricket, and is bang in form.

Firstly, that has no bearing on how absolutely fucking appalling he was on his 2nd chance for England, so why he warrants a 3rd chance I'll never know. But moreover, he has made those runs batting for Yorkshire at 5, what the fuck are they doing sticking him in in the most important batting position?

Re: 2nd Test England v South Africa at Trent Bridge
Mark STONEMAN should be opening the batting. He's waited his chance and has enough runs in all forms to get a go.
Dawson has done fine, but Mason CRANE will ultimately be the spin option.

In truth, the batting stocks aren't particularly deep, and our quicks when Broad and Anderson hang up are extremely concerning. Some really talented kids about but probably need another couple of years before they're ready.

You'll be bringing the TALL QUICK CREW of Boyd Rankin, Chris Tremlett & Liam Plunkett to Australia , SURELY?

Re: 2nd Test England v South Africa at Trent Bridge
Like when we brought Chris TREMLETT in 2010/11?
